Chapter 3: Applications to Flow Problems

Applets you may need to use for this chapter:

1. FlowTool plots the streamlines for the flow of an ideal fluid. It permits the user to select the number and location of sources or sinks on the boundary of the region and then allows the strength to be dynamically varied. The applet shows steady state fluid flow in four pre-set regions: the entire complex plane, the half plane, the quadrant, and the infinite strip.
